Francis Meadows

Francis Meadows, a senior housing project in Burlington, began as a dream in the 1960's for Fr. Victor Krzywonos, OFM. This community of comfortable, affordable apartments is now available to people over 55 years of age.

This Franciscan out-reach to the often forgotten of our society, provides housing in a peaceful, quiet and safe environment. Senior Friars from the adjacent Queen of Peace Friary minister to Francis Meadows’ citizens.

Francis Meadows is located on the Friars 160 acres, and features beautifully landscaped gardens and woods along the banks of the Fox River. Amenities include a community room with a cozy fireplace to add warmth and atmosphere to those chilly winter nights. There is also a reading room and an outdoor patio.

Francis Meadows is located at the intersection of highway "W" and highway 36 just outside the expanding and developing town of Burlington. It is about twenty miles from Milwaukee and a fast 70 miles to Chicago.
